September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, and together we are glowing gold to show support for families impacted by cancer.

This season, you can demonstrate your support by joining the Jumping Jack Challenge, sharing our message, and pledging to the foundation.

Join the Jumping Jack Challenge!

Jump alone or with friends to raise awareness and funds to support families whose lives were permanently impacted by cancer. Just like the 2023 event, by registering and committing to your goal of jumping jacks for the month of September you will fuel our goal of reaching 15,780 jumping jacks, one for every child diagnosed with cancer each year.

HOW TO JOIN THE JUMPING JACK CHALLENGE:

Register here! Registration is $25 per person and includes a Milton Glows Gold soft cotton t-shirt. We do not want money to be a barrier to participation and we would be more than happy to help - if you want help please email mcmstrong@gmail.com.

When you register you will:

  • Make a jumping jack pledge for the month of September

  • Decide if you want to do it alone or if you want to join/create a team

  • Share with your friends and family

    • Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram and Facebook so that we can share your content and spread the word!

The GOAL: Together, we will jump for the 15,780 kids diagnosed with cancer every year.

All funds raised will go to the MCM Fund to help low-income families pay funeral expenses when they lose a child. Learn more here.

Glow Gold on September 27

While Milton Glows Gold takes place throughout September (Child Cancer Awareness Month), Friday, September 27, 2024, is Glow Gold Day. The town will glow gold to show support for families battling cancer. Wear gold, hang a ribbon from your door, and light a candle in your window to show support. The community will come together to celebrate at the football game while also participating in a blood drive.

Glow Gold Football Game on September 27 2024

September 27th marks the first home football game of the year! Fans are asked to wear gold and the game honors pediatric cancer awareness.

In Loving Memory of Emily L. Butt

This year, we are hosting Glow Gold in loving memory of Emily L. Butt, who passed away on February 27, 2024, after a courageous battle with leukemia.  Born on May 19, 2015, Emily's vibrant spirit and infectious smile were a gift to all who knew her during her precious eight years of life.
